Dr Paulo Bonifácio
Brazilian, Paulo was initially formed as polychaete taxonomist (northeast Brazil) during bachelor and master at Federal University of Pernambuco. Paulo has worked also in ecology and temporal variation of macrobenthic communities of shallow waters (Mediterranean Sea) during his PhD at Bordeaux University, which made him be sure study only polychaetes! Now he is doing his first post-doc at Ifremer, studying connectivity, ecology and diversity of deep-sea polychaetes in polymetallic nodules fields in Pacific Ocean. Polychaetes are coming!
